Our Methods
Contingency search
A contingency search is typically used to fill junior to middle management positions. With a contingency search we will only charge a fee on the successful placement of a candidate.
What does a contingency search offer?
- A quick and responsive service using our extensive database.
- Online job advertisements on our website and if appropriate the website of our partners.
- Print advertisements.
- A responsive end-to-end solution.
While contingency searches can yield appropriate results at junior to middle management level, for senior management appointments many of the best candidates will not generally be looking for a new job so they will not respond to online or print advertising campaigns and so a retained search would be more appropriate.
Retained search
A retained search offers a higher touch solution where the rewards of ‘getting it right’ and the penalties for ‘getting it wrong’ are high. With a retained search we charge an upfront fee which is non-refundable, but deductible against the final placement fee.
What does a retained search offer?
- A proactive approach to undertake extensive research in order to provide an appropriate selection of highly qualified candidates.
- An active search to seek new candidates whom are not accessible via conventional recruitment methods by using industry wide research as part of the executive search process.
- Objective and unbiased advice on both internal and external candidates.
- An end-to-end solution.
By providing only the most qualified candidates and by offering informed assessments of those candidates, we ensure that your time and attention are not diverted from other responsibilities. Our consultative approach offers you a service which fully integrates with your company.
